SMALLVILLE season 6 episode 22: PHANTOM

I so love Smallville Season 6's finale because after all the waiting, there are no more secrets and lies between CLARK & LANA. I love it because they kissed. I love it because Lana has finally decided to leave Lex!;pI dig the fact that they have well improved on the special effects department. I actually felt like I was watching a movie at the beginning of the show...w/the Martian Manhunter's attempt to save that poor man's possesed body!;)It's just funny how they have made Lionel one of the good guys now. It seems unbelievable. I mean, who could blame me after all those seasons wherein he had always been one scheming bastard--just except for Lex? He deserved the beating! What excuse could there be for all the trouble and hurt he has caused Lana & Clark when Lex doesn't even know Clark's weakness? How could Clark be indeed in trouble? damn!:(I also give credit to how Lana decided to stage her own death so that Lex wouldn't have to look for her...and of course, so that Lex will be blamed for her supposed murder! I would say it was a staged death because that milk truck couldn't make it any more obvious! Great plan, except that she would have to go unseen. But I hear she's still in season 7! I can live w/that!;DI must admit I like everything else about the plot except the revelation about Chloe's power. It wasn't just that I wished they would just let Lois die in the dam so that she won't get in the way of Clark & Lana's destiny to be together forever, her power is just absurd! Perhaps they were thinking of hitting two birds with one stone by revealing Chloe's power and at the same time letting her die since she does not exist on any one of those Superman movies anyway. But they could have done better! I mean, her tears can heal and then she gets to die? A power for one-time use only? And a tear?!? Very lame and disappointing!:(But basing on their season ender, especially w/Bizarro as Clark's new opponent, I think season 7 is going to be a blast!:)
